Det här var en väldigt intressant story, och dessutom riktigt snyggt gjord. Dock vet jag inte om jag upplever att den är så fantastiskt bra på att problematisera sitt budskap - ”vad innebär frihet?!”. Å ena sida, är det ju visserligen bra att Vaughan inte gör det allt för obvious utan faktiskt berättar en läsvärd story som har ett budskap. Å andra sidan, hade jag hoppats att den skulle få mig att tänka mer än vad den gjorde. Jag tar inte med mig någon (revolutionerande) tanke från den här boken. Det tyckte jag var lite synd då jag nästan hade hoppats på det.
Men som sagt, väldigt läsvärd bok. En häftig och samtidigt ganska hemsk berättelse som generellt har fått väldigt bra kritik. Läs den!
