Helt klart en av de bättre böckerna av Kendall Ryan. Det är mer kött på benen när det kommer till deras story och relation. Men Ryans sätt att skriva återkommer även här; underhållande och enkelt men kanske inte de djupaste budskapen.

Samma kommentar gäller väl här som för Hard to Love; en bok som man läser för att man vill läsa någonting som kanske inte betyder så mycket men är ändå helt okej.

Jag vet inte riktigt vad jag ska säga om den här boken faktiskt. Det är väldigt lättlästa böcker som man plöjer igenom när man behöver läsa någonting. Jag tycker inte att de säger eller betyder någonting. Alls. Det är läsning och en story men inget mer. 

Dock har jag ändå läsa typ alla Kendall Ryans böcker så det säger ju också något. Bra skrivna och underhållande. Så varför inte!

Resisting Her - Kendall Ryan

But helping her out won’t be easy. He comforts her through screaming nightmares and escaping the lingering fears of her past, but that’s the easy part. Her preference to sleep cuddled up next to his warm body, and her desire to please him in every way makes her harder and harder to resist. Jag är aningen besviken för jag hoppades att det skulle handla mer om Agent/FBI och hennes bakgrund-delen. Men det är typ ingenting av boken. Boken består typ av en massa drabbel(vilket för mig betyder: folk som är olyckliga(har problem/trubbel) och klagar på sin liv). Sammanlagt är det kanske en handfull scener som utspelar sig utanför hans lägenhet och inte på grund av att det bara pågår en massa M-ratade grejer, utan det är bara drabbel. 

Det är en okej story men den är bara tom. Den är ju fin men det är bara whatever. 

Det är väl detta som kan vara ett av problemen med att allt fler publicerar sina egna böcker och alla e-böcker som kommer ut. Visserligen säljer den ju, jag sitter ju här och läser den, men det finns ingen som gör en kritisk och ordentlig granskning av den här boken. För den handlar verkligen inte om någonting men ändå publicerar man den. Men samtidigt är det en grundläggande rättighet, tryckfrihetsförordningen och sådant ni vet, att få publicera vad man vill inom vissa gränser(får ej kränka andra - typish!). 

Men nej, det är en okej bok, men den handlar inte om någonting. Det är bara en massa drabbel och whatever. Trist. Hade högre förväntningar.
